Pastor Dean Odle of Fire and Grace Church in Opelika shook up the Alabama political landscape with his spirited campaign for GOP nominee for Governor in the 2022 Republican primary. With the momentous statewide elections on the horizon, Odle has thrown his hat back in the ring this time for Lieutenant Governor. Odle took the time for an exclusive interview with the Examiner regarding his vision for our state and how his new role as Lieutenant Governor could help bring that to life.
Asked about the process that brought him to this weighty decision, Odle remarked,
When I came back to Jesus Christ and totally surrendered my life to Him in 1987, I have endeavored to be a man of prayer and to follow the leading of His Holy Spirit. Since then, I have been a serious student of the Bible, world history, world religions, archeology, cosmology, politics, languages, and real science. And unlike many of my fellow Christians, I believe that Christians should be involved in the political process especially when we see corruption and the abuse of power from our elected officials.
That is what led me to run for Governor of Alabama (2020-2022). I could not sit back and do nothing when our so-called “conservative” Republican Governor Kay Ivey shut down businesses, schools, and churches during the Covid-19 “pandemic.” These actions were clearly not the actions of a true conservative Republican. They were violations of our God-given rights listed in the First Amendment of our US Constitution. It was also a violation of the law called the Depravation of Rights Under the Color of Law TITLE 18, U.S.C., SECTION 242. She also failed to encourage the use of the Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin early protocols that were clearly saving lives from the Chinese Communist Party bioweapon.
Asked about disenfranchised patriots who have given up on the electoral process in Alabama, Odle replied;
After campaigning for two years, traveling approximately 80,000 miles crisscrossing the state of Alabama, I was exhausted. Then, during the Republican primary on May 24, 2022, we saw some very evident manipulation of the vote count that evening which was confirmed by a cyber expert analysis after the election. Couple that with what happened during the 2020 presidential election and the whistleblowers who came forth to expose the Deep State and China’s ability to hack into United State voting machines and flip votes, add votes, or subtract votes remotely and without detection, I knew that I could not give up the fight. At the time, I didn’t know how that was going to look, but I just kept praying.
Then, at a Bama Carry meeting in 2023, I felt the Lord leading me to run for Lt. Governor. Just like many patriots in Alabama, I was even more disillusioned by the political corruption coming primarily from my own party when I ran for Governor in 2022. I quickly learned that there were many more fake Republicans pretending to be conservatives than I had anticipated. And truly, I cannot blame the many patriots that have abandoned being involved in our electoral process. It does get frustrating watching the nonsense that goes on in Montgomery and all the way to the local level of politics. Also, knowing that they can cheat via the voting machines and take illegal, dark money from our enemies makes it even worse. It makes good people want to give up the fight. However, that was not the attitude of our Founding Fathers. They decided to fight for their freedoms in the face of what seemed impossible. They were willing to put their lives and fortunes on the line for a chance to be truly free from England’s tyranny. And with prayer, action, and God’s help, they defeated the British empire and established the best possible government model this side of heaven.
In the Revolutionary War, God stirred up the heart of Christian ministers to train and prepare their members to fight the British tyranny. They were known as the Black Robe Regiment. They were especially hated by the British army because these Christian ministers were some of the fiercest fighters and they inspired that in the American soldiers who fought with them. And when I was praying about running for office again, I asked the Lord Jesus very privately for a confirming sign. Then, one day in 2024, I went into my office and there was a long rectangular box on my desk. When I opened it, there was a beautiful Cherokee-style tomahawk in it with a wooden handle. On one side of the handle was engraved (in an old English font “Pastor Dean Odle” and on the other side was engraved “Black Robe Regiment.” I discovered that this was an “conservative warrior” award from former Florida Republican Congressman and former Chairman of the Texas Republican Party US Army (retired) LTC Allen West. He had heard about my run for Governor of Alabama and he had heard my message “Global Tyranny vs. the Black Robe Regiment.” Needless to say, that was God’s way of confirming that I should get back in the fight against these crooked politicians and outright traitors in our state government.
During my first campaign, I stood up against the shutdowns, the masks and vaccine mandates as well as the unconstitutional requirement of having to buy a permit to carry a gun. I railed against the government censorship and lies about the early treatment protocols for Covid-19. I advocated for the states to get back to enforcing the 10th Amendment. I advocated for complete school choice that removed government control and lower taxes. I also exposed the plans of the Deep State and globalists organizations like the UN, the Federal Reserve, the WEF, the Bill Gates Foundation, the CCP and others to undermine American sovereignty/freedoms in order to establish a world government. And I brought the receipts to back up everything I said. I am a true American patriot who will not sell out my fellow Alabamians for money or to stay in power.
Asked about what steps he would take to jumpstart economic prosperity in Alabama, Odle replied;
As for economic policy, I believe in lowering taxes and getting rid of useless regulations. Those two things alone encourage economic growth. I also want to see Alabama do more drilling for our oil and natural gas. “Alabama should have a very profitable future in the Conasauga, Devonian and Neal shale formations in the upper middle part of the state. The Geological Survey of Alabamaestimates that these formations may hold more than 800-trillion cubic feet of gas resources. That's a lot of gas waiting to be extracted, creating jobs and fueling economic growth.”
“Survey scientists are describing deeply buried reservoirs in southwest Alabama and in Alabama state waters. Survey scientists are identifying areas that may contain undiscovered oil and gas accumulations. The results of this study will help oil and gas companies find new fields in Alabama.
The Geological Survey of Alabama completed a three-year study on the geology and development potential of shale gas plays. The Black Warrior basin and Appalachian thrust belt of Alabama contain a diversity of emerging gas shale plays in Cambrian through Mississippian strata with gas resources that may exceed 800 trillion cubic feet (original gas-in-place).”

Dramatically expanding our oil and natural gas production would affect the overall economy in Alabama. We need to drill baby drill.
Asked about a special message he would like to share with voters in East Alabama and across the state, Odle replied;
My message to Alabama voters is this…over the last decade, Alabama has been consistently ranked in the top four of states in political corruption. And for the past fifteen years, Republicans have controlled state government. Sadly, the majority of these “Republicans” have not been true conservative patriots who really care about the people of Alabama. It is time to stop electing the career politicians and their children (like Wes Allen) over and over. We must elect some Alabamians who will shake up the status quo and fight corruption on every level.
*We must stop the manipulation of our elections via Chinese-compromised voting machines. We can only accomplish this by getting rid of the voting machines and going to secure paper ballots and hand counting like Germany, France, and dozens of other countries.
*We must stop the selling of our precious farmland to solar companies. These solar companies are funded by our globalist enemies at the United Nations and the Rockefeller foundation. The solar panels are made in China and these massive solar farms destroy farmland and poison the water table from toxic chemicals that leak into the soil.
*We must stop PAC to PAC dark money donations to political candidates and limit donations from businesses and corporations. We must also stop political contributions from pharmaceutical companies and the medical establishment.
*We must stop corrupt judges, lawyers and DHR from breaking the law and doing evil things like stealing children from innocent parents.
*We must stop those who want to drive our small mom and pop pharmacies and rural hospitals out of business.
*We must prepare our state for the food shortages, lack of antibiotics, biological attacks, cyber warfare on our power grid, and economic instability that will come from the inevitable war with China and other countries like Russia and Iran.
*We must stop resist the UN, WEF, WHO, NWO agenda to take away our freedoms. We must have leaders that fight to keep our freedom of speech, religion, the press, to assemble and our right to bear arms, our right to privacy, and the exercise the 10th Amendment of states rights against an overreaching federal government.
As Lieutenant Governor of Alabama, these are some of the things that I will fight to the death (if necessary) to protect and to get done. So I ask for your vote on May 26, 2026to be the Republican nominee for Lt. Governor of Alabama. I am the anti-establishment, anti-RINO Republican.
